Lab Overview

Every new Azure AD tenant comes with an initial domain name, domainname.onmicrosoft.com. You can’t change or delete the initial domain name, but you can add your organization’s names. Adding custom domain names helps you to create user names that are familiar to your users, such as alain@berksbatteries.com.

Learning Objectives

In this Azure simulation, you will be guided through the process of adding a new custom domain to a new Azure AD tenant. You’ll add the domain, create the necessary TXT records to verify the domain , and then you will verify the domain. You’ll wrap up by making the custom domain primary.
