Perform a Network Discovery in SolarWinds

[yasr_visitor_votes]

Lab Overview

The first time you run the Discovery Wizard, which is also called the “Network Sonar Wizard”, SolarWinds recommends adding just a few application servers, including things like Exchange, IIS, SQL, Linux, and Unix. Once you’ve set things up the way you want them, you can scale your discovery up.

After you’ve deployed and configured SolarWinds, the discovery wizard will typically start automatically. However, if it doesn’t start automatically after configuration, you can launch it by clicking “Settings”, and then “Network Discovery”.

Learning Objectives

In this interactive, hands-on SolarWinds simulation, you will be guided through the process of running a network discovery.
