Microsoft Applied Skills: Secure Storage for Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage
Part 4 of 5: Provide Shared File Storage for Company Offices
Lab Overview
In this lab, you’ll provision shared file storage for the company offices of SurfCity Boats. Because the company is geographically dispersed, with offices located in different regions, the offices require a reliable and efficient way to share files and disseminate information. The solution should ensure that file shares are easy to access, load quickly without delay, and meet specific security requirements. Certain content should only be accessible from designated corporate virtual networks to enhance security.
To address these needs, the following skilling tasks will be undertaken: First, a storage account will be created specifically to host file shares. Next, a file share and directory will be configured to organize and manage data efficiently. To protect against data loss, snapshots will be set up, and you will practice restoring files from these snapshots. Finally, access to the storage account will be restricted to a specific virtual network and subnet to ensure only authorized users can access the data.

- Create a storage account specifically for file shares
