What to ask

This is member support. Content questions and account questions both come to the same inbox and get a personal reply.

About the labs and courses

  • A step in a lab that you couldn't follow, or that behaved differently in a real tenant.
  • Why a configuration is done a certain way, and what the alternatives are.
  • How a lab topic maps to an exam objective (AZ-900, AZ-104, and others).
  • What to study next, or which collection fits the job you're aiming for.
  • A mistake or outdated screen you spotted in a lab or course.

About your account and access

  • A lab that won't launch, or loads slowly. Try a hard reload (Ctrl+Shift+R) and turning off ad blockers for labitpro.com first — that fixes most of them.
  • A lab that stays locked after purchase — log out and back in, then message if it's still locked.
  • Team Pass seat changes, adding learners, or an invite that didn't arrive.
  • Billing, receipts, and anything else about your pass.

Ask the Author is included with a pass

Direct access to Tom for lab, exam, and account questions comes with the All-Access Pass and the Team Access Pass. Pick one and this form unlocks as soon as you're signed in.

How it works

Who actually answers?

Tom does. There's no support team in between — the person who wrote the lab reads your question and writes the reply.

How long does a reply take?

Usually within a couple business days. Anything that's stopping you from getting into a lab is answered first.

Will my question be posted publicly?

No. Replies go to your email only. If a question comes up often, a general version may be added to this page, without your name.

Can I ask about things that aren't in a lab?

Yes. Study plans, exam strategy, and real-world Azure or Active Directory questions are all welcome — those are often the best ones.

I'm a Udemy student. Should I ask here or in the course Q&A?

Either works. Course-specific questions are best in the Udemy Q&A so other students see the answer; lab questions and anything broader belong here.

Can I ask you to build a lab on a specific topic?

Please do. Requests from learners decide a lot of what gets recorded next.
